As Manager of Distributed Generation with the Strategic Planning & Business Development Department at Austin Energy, the community-owned electric utility of the City of Austin, Texas USA, Mr. Alford is leading Austin Energy’s PEV Initiative, the effort to prepare for the integration of plug-in electric vehicles into the Austin Energy system.
